I don't quite get it - what do you guys do?
We are a "Contract" IT Department and consulting group - typically called a Managed Service Provider:
Systems and security managment - such as making sure your computers are up-to-date, antivirus protected, servers are properly provisioned, networks are operating.
Email, file shares, and "business" tools - think Microsoft Office, server shares, SharePoint Online, and client management software
Consulting and Training - what is Information Security, what kind of network do you need for your business, how do you integrate your systems together?
Help Desk w. 24 hour support options - Get a password changed, a printer fixed, a one on one remote walkthrough, or have priority response to a business critical issue
How expensive is hiring an MSP like WTS?
It depends. While we do provide one-time services and project work for businesses, we operate primarily with clients doing "Business Continuity Agreements" where we become your businesses IT department. This means you get billed monthly and a certain amount of guaranteed hours available to you and your staff for issues and ongoing IT management.
I think I've been hacked - what do I do?
Give us a call at 360-639-8715. Do not call any phone numbers that have appeared on your computer or webpage, particularily when they claim to be "Microsoft Support" or some other company.
If you are concerned about cybersecurity, we are an organization that takes it very seriously. We have multiple certified staff and industry partners who work primarily on ensuring infrastructure and systems are secure. We often consult on what it means to be secure and compliant in the modern digital landscape.
Do you guys do HIPAA compliant setups?
Yes! We have many clients who must follow HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CJIS, NIST, or other industry frameworks and standards.
I have a Project Quote - Down Payment Information
After both Whidbey Tech and a Customer approve a project quote, a down payment of 50% of the estimated quote, or estimated cost of hardware (whichever is higher) will be required before the project is started.
